SLOCA has teamed up with the Cancer Support Community of St. Louis to put on a free, daylong Ovarian Cancer Awareness Day on Saturday, September 15, at The Heights, Richmond Heights' community center. The day will be tailored to women who have received a diagnosis of ovarian cancer, their loved ones and medical professionals. Admission will be free. Our hardworking friends at SLOCA have secured a block of tickets for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Night at the Ballpark on Friday, Sept. 7, when The Cards play the Milwaukee Brewers in an evening game. SLOCA is selling 500 tickets in Sections 335, 337, 339 and 340. Each ticket costs $30 and includes a hot dog and soft drink; $9 of that price is tax-deductible.
